Are you using `fr-FR` locale by any chance? I was able to reproduce the bug using `fr-FR` but not with `fr`.
Yes, I still have it. I'm using Firefox 107.0 (latest release version as of now) if that makes any difference.

Safari has implemented RelativeTimeFormat according to https://caniuse.com/?search=Intl.RelativeTimeFormat.

That was what I tried the first time but it didn't look good. Looking at it once again, it might be the better options. 
I see from where you are coming from but I'm not sure if agree with you for this specific case. It is generally agreed that red is used for notifications...
