I ran into this error too. Ran vmonkey.py -a fixed the issue.

Under the plugins folder, create a new folder with the same name as the dll. Place the dll in the folder. Restart npp and it should show up.

This is not a bug. That is how markdown works. You have to put a double space after for a line break. https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/#line-breaks
