Enhancing Html rendering

Open charliedrewitt opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

This PR changes the HTML rendering to be done by the default System.Windows.Forms WebBrowser control. For me, this results in support for things like Task Lists as well as nicer looking rendering.

I've also added the Bootstrap 3 stylesheet and enabled the UseBootstrap() feature of Markdig to generate bootstrap compatible css classes. Here's an example of how it looks without any custom user css added.

I've also updated the Nuget packages to a set which work, as some of the versions that were installed are no longer available on the package source.

Let me know what you think!

Can I get a copy of the compiled version of this?

This looks nice. Hope the developer "with write access" will prove and implement this solution. Seems like there is no development anymore 😢. Maybe @charliedrewitt could be given the right to contribute to this project (or to "merge pull requests"). In the meantime I would be interested in the compiled version, too.

Is the original PR author still interested in this? I love this PR and would really want to see some more updates to this great plugin. So Charlie Drewitt, you could just take over and maintain your 'own' plugin?

And I would be interested in the compiled version, too!

Thank you so much!
