You're running on MySQL 5.8, I don't think you need to upgrade. If the issue still persists, try changing the MySQL user's authentication method
afaict, TShock converts Terraria chat commands back into string form, so it goes through TShock rather than Terraria, but TShock neither has a `/death` nor `/alldeath` command
