I am in the same market and had a lengthy discussion with a Google Fiber representative about this. Business customers in Huntsville, AL do not get setup with VLAN 2....
It does sound like a provisioning issue. Mine was setup with VLAN 2 and has been a pain trying to setup a router that handles it well.

I believe there is some merit to this. I was getting 700/300 on an EdgeRouter 10X. Changing the prefix length to 56 bumped that up to 900/450.
I would need an example file that causes the issue to properly investigate this.

Thanks. That is why the Composer package type is set to project. It allows people to install it through Composer, but it will run fine independently. :D
