According to copilot this could be a nunit issue. I'm not sure if that is correct (or made up), but it could be good to check.

Where could we document this? And what about the UTF BOM? Is that allowed/required/forbidden?
VS code says indeed UTF16-LE result the file is missing the BOM expected
Currently UTF16 + 32 is only supported with a valid UTF BOM. See readme
