Solving this issue will mostly revert the quickfix introduced in https://github.com/precice/python-bindings/pull/130.

I also used the quickfix from #130 in #171

As soon as https://github.com/precice/precice/pull/2065 is merged we should be able to start working on this issue.

I think that this is definitely something we should go for in a first release of the adapter, because it defines what the user sees and this should be consistent...
