Is this problem solved? I have a similar problem. In 1.7.2 the animation is great. But in 1.8.3 the animation doesn't occur. My site is still sitting in my laptop...

@Uysim I am seeing the same issue... Seems to be an issue with Dry/Reform Simple Form.
