I've messed around with it a little and it's definitely possible with only css by changing the `flex-direction` from `row` to `column-reverse`. But then there's a lot more to do...

You could also try the the [user style option](https://github.com/daattali/oldschool-github-extension/blob/master/css/osgh.user.css?raw=true) with [Stylus](https://github.com/openstyles/stylus#releases). That will allow you to specify which domains you want the css to apply to.

Sounds like the `ref` values are wrong. `ref=DN1` should be just `ref=1` for the same reason that US Route 1 has `ref=1` instead of `ref=US1`.

I think we can just render the refs as they are. We can share with the Romanian mapping community and if they care that it doesn't look right, they can...
