yes, that's definitely possible.

there is a scenario where the scene has no Objects yet, so no object is active. .. or the object has no `.type`

i also am inclined to resist automatic updates, but that's coming from a point of view of someone who rather infrequently updates my own installation of sverchok. As a dev...

also `numba` would speed it up a lot....... a lot!. the only downside for these external libraries is updates/upgrades/version mismatch issues.
