@hartmut27 I've had the same issue a while back (long before corona was a thing), to the point that I've never had a successful installation using esy. Granted my internet...

I assume it won't be necessary, as for example if you only have 1 bucket, the system will reserve that one, start crafting the first cake, but stop until more...

So, what's the status on this? any chance that pyFirmata will get ping support at some point?
