To my knowledge that was planned but ran into some issues. I suppose once other issues are solved and time is allocated to figuring out the F-droid builds, it can happen.

To my knowledge, the thing blocking F-droid is Firebase Job Dispenser which @wax911 has said he would not remove because he wants to continue supporting obsolete pre-lollipop devices which is not really an option without Firebase Job Dispenser because Android's Job Dispenser was made for lollipop and higher.

I'd simply close this issue - I don't think it'll ever happen. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@lionirdeadman I think I have mentioned that "I am waiting for https://developer.android.com/topic/libraries/architecture/workmanager/ to reach an out-of-alpha phase to swap it out with job dispatcher more than once in the discord chats.

In addition you will see that the requested was already added in the To Do for v2.0 so i am not sure where you heard "the refusal to impl" from, in future please verify with others before asserting

This is why I said "Correct me if I'm wrong". I'd certainly prefer if we support F-droid, I'm sure you know about how much nagging I've done for it.

In the future, I'll simply not talk further here - I have no reason to do so.
