What do you mean by support, btw? Shipping binaries with releases? I believe we should do packages for apt and yum instead.
pgx now supports SCRAM, I think we will update our pgx vendoring to v3.4.0 and this will be supported by WAL-G too.
@kravietz sorry, still had no time to test... can you please send a PR with bump of dependency here https://github.com/wal-g/wal-g/blob/master/Gopkg.lock#L258 and try if SCRAM is working?
I think we should disable most of codecs like lzo and brotli in dev versions, because they create too much of hassle for new potential contributors.... I've updated pgx in...
