That wouldn't just work. The behavior you're expecting would require coordination between your table view's gesture recognizers (which SwiftMessages has no idea about) and the gesture recognizer used to dismiss...

Status bar does not reappear after messageView disappears.

Can you try 8.0.5? I think this may be the same underlying problem as #446.

Sorry about the misunderstanding. I'm able to reproduce accessing `isOrphaned` on a background queue. However, I don't see any warnings. Where are you seeing that?
