Deep inspection of digital cinema packages
A hint in that case?
Created with QubeMaster Pro 2.4.1.2: 2.00 with an image size of 1998x1080. Error not detected. I send the issue tu Qube too.
In case of cinecanvas png subtitles, dcp_inspect only checks the presence of the assets in the assetmap. The assets must be present in the pkl too and shall be validated...
If a subtitle text is out of ``, it is not displayed on the screen. dcp_inspect should advise me.
We have some customers DCPs of old movies, which are mono and therefore only have audio on the center channel but because of the needs of the InterOp audio channel...
today I inspected a feature film on my 24 Gb mackintosh. At the end of the inspection 20 Mbs were left available and 20 Gb were inactive. I don't know...

dcp_inspect should check if element is correct in pkl. e.g. in an interop composition if application/mxf is declared for an interop mxf asset instead of application/x-smpte-mxf;asdcpKind=Picture or application/x-smpte-mxf;asdcpKind=Sound
With an InterOp DCP dcp_inspect only check hash on the pkl. It should check it on cpl aswell and compare hash in cpl against hash in pkl.
