Same here. Verified it's not in settings to enable/disable. Both stable and beta (Android TV) are missing the option. Standard official YT app still shows it. No updates available, none...

....and now the ST beta ATV app has the option again, but not the stable version. I didn't even exit the app,let alone FC or anything....tell me this isn't ST...

It's back, the stable update works!!! I checked around a half hour ago before the update hit me and it was missing. Checked again after updating and it's working again....

It really does seem like whatever change made it go away was something server-side, which means big G was poking around with the do not recommend feature in some way....
