OK, keeping in mind the dots/indicators issue is tracked in #1757, we can reopen this issue #1806 to track the workspace problem.

Running with `GNOME_SHELL_SLOWDOWN_FACTOR=20` today I was able to see the missing corners during an app launch animation (icon scales up).

Ghosting and stuttering of moving window of MInecraft

Looks like the shadow has not been included in the known damage region so it doesn't get removed when the window moves. I'm not sure how dash-to-dock could cause that.
