I get that error in Visual Studio 2015 when I try to open the 'Saved Tabs Window'. Nothing is listed in the ActivityLog.xml.

Np- The saving of tab groups work great - just not the 'Saved Tabs Window' to allow me to delete them :).

Be less insistent that people should not use AddAsync in most cases

True or not, its what the documentation currently says here and when you hover over the method in Visual Studio: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/ef/core/change-tracking/miscellaneous#add-versus-addasync So either the documentation needs to be updated, or...
