I was not able to reproduce this issue. Is it happening only on PDF files ? Which version of TagSpaces are you using and on which operating system?

In Linux search results cannot be opened natively due to backslash in path

Thanks for reporting this. Can you tell me how the network share is connected to TagSpaces, how does the path look like in the location properties?

Files browser works as expected but search result is incorrect

@sytolk we should check why the index is not automatically updated after the rename.
