It works on my side. Can you please show the location settings with the connected path.
What you can try is to connect a subfolder of the Y: drive as location and if then the thumbnails will be generated.
I could not reproduce this issue with the current version -> closing

I just tried the latest 5.7.9 version on Windows 11 with the --portable flag after TagSpaces.exe and everything works as expected.
Just tested the portable functionality on version 5.7.13 and it worked as expected -> closing
I was not able to reproduce this on Ubuntu / Linux. Probably is a Windows specific issue.
