The issue could not be reproduced in the latest version - 5.7.10. Closing.
In version 5.8.3 there is an alternative markdown editor called md-editor-next. It support sub-list with the tab key.
Can you send me exact steps for the reproduction of this issue? What do you mean be the "Beta tag order" feature?
I think i found it:  Well. this is a feature which is turned of by default and clearly marked as BETA... We simply do not have currently time to...
