Reproduce-able with the Flatpak on ArchLinux only under Wayland. Edit: Any combo box seems to be able to make it, so not limited to properties.
GNOME OS Nightly (GNOME 43) does not have this issue. ~~I'm waiting for updated Arch Linux package (still GNOME 42) to re-check.~~
