Reopening as it could possibly be a bug.

@bedrockmasterbg I see this is installed as a Flatpak, but you're on an old version (27.0.1, latest is 27.1.3). Do you have auto-updates disabled? How did you install this Flatpak?

Run flatpak update to update your Flatpak apps and runtimes. That version's rather old.

So the file chooser is stuck there and you can't chose a directory? Do you have xdg-desktop-portal-kde installed?

Note Flatpak itself does not have a auto update mechanism. Auto updates are usually done by a GUI app store. On KDE the GUI app store is usually KDE Discover. However, while Pop os does come with Flatpak support out of the box, since this user switched from GNOME to KDE they might not have also installed KDE Discover (assuming that version of Discover actually auto updates Flatpaks).

On a distro like Fedora by default you get Flatpak and GNOME Software which auto updates Flatpaks.

I can't reproduce the issue on Kubuntu 20.04 with the Flatpak.

Please retest in OBS Studio 28.1.2 or newer.
