What app and OS version are you using? Do other apps show the coordinates well?
if you send the file to yourself via email and download it, does the new file still show the location?

Im using https://github.com/ArthurHub/Android-Image-Cropper for that, check if they have something similar reported.
you might want to report it there, to see what does the creator have to say about it. It isnt really an active project anymore though.
guess the app thinks that it is a portrait, try toggling Portrait at the top Menu -> Filter if anything changes.
gif/svg/raw texts will be added in 6.9.5. No panoramas yet, fetching that during loading/scrolling might be too slow

Try selecting the wrong files by long pressing their thumbnails and using Menu -> Fix Date Taken values.
not really, nothing changed. It would need a new setting item as swiping through search results definitely isnt always the expected behaviour.
