@ParkerRobb Thank you! You are right. The font does need to include Hebrew and Greek characters. I was using the Greek and Hebrew fonts from the Society for Biblical Literature...

But still Everson Mono is the only font I have found yet that can render it right. So still something to figure out ... sometime.
