Hi @mpjraaij Thanks for reporting this one. Right now any RethinkDB error is passed back directly to the client. There is no interpreter in between that generates a friendly error...

I have assigned this issue to milestone 2.1 However 7.2 will be supported ASAP

I have test 7.2.9 and it worked fine without issues.
