Can you run sysinternals procmon and see if npclient.dll is opened at all?

opentrack never opens npclient.dll. The game should at least try to load it.

Oh, and you can have a VM with ED installed in it.

It works ingame? Looks like you fixed it some other way.

Reboot and try again as before. Is ED running as your typical user? Does it run as admin by itself?
