I must be missing something embarrassingly obvious because I can't find any example of how this plugin is used in the readme here, nor in the issues (open or closed)...

Please Audit/Edit the first stages of this Doc. You can't find a main branch in a repo that's empty (my-first-static-web-app)

The instructions say to 'follow this 'generate' link' .. you create an **empty** repository from the link provided. there is no option to 'create repository from **template**' only 'create repository'...
