@lapaz17, at what stage is this PR, will you continue to do it? I would like to see it in 4.6.0

It doesn't make any sense, the author refused to complete the work.
Don't use libtorrent 2.0.x and you'll be fine.
These problems will always be there, since this is an lt2.0 problem and there have been complaints about speed for a very long time. https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent/issues/6561
