I would be willing to keep the examples in line with the API. Please let me know if you are interested.

The **checkcfg** plugin checks if pkg(8) allows plugins to access their configuration data. It basically tests for the implementation of https://github.com/freebsd/pkg/pull/1844 .

- Update pkg-plugin-template to new API and add examples on how to access configuration data - Update stats and zfssnap plugins so they compile and can serve as working examples
