There was a fix for compare crashes in v8.27.9 but the original cause is bad compare URLs
If you change input_number.iboost_value_scaling to something higher e.g. 1.0 then you shouldn't get this as much.
Did you manage to confirm this?

I've increased the polling times on main, see if it helps if not I can try the other option
