Please try 'main' which will now call the service if its configured in apps.yaml, I removed has_service_api from apps.yaml totally.
What inverter do you have and have you tried the charge rate curve feature?
I doubt its predbat as it doesn't control the car charging rate
So I think discharge was never implemented for MQTT, I'm trying to add it

Without more context its hard to comment, there two things here that can make it negative: 1. You have settings that are more pessimistic than reality, so Predbat did something...
You have iboost solar enabled, and its iboosting on the solar during that force discharge slot hence 'full' is not set?
Hmm actually you are right it says 3.7 kWh there, let me look again
Pushed a fix to main, effectively iboost solar was active but the extra energy now included the export which was a mistake
