Same issue here. problem still not resolved.

I found solution : follow this thread [link here](https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18590&p=50306&hilit=brave) - manually copy this file from ~/.config/google-chrome/NativeMessagingHosts/org.freedownloadmanager.fdm5.cnh.json to ~./config/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/NativeMessagingHosts/org.freedownloadmanager.fdm5.cnh.json. Don't forget to restart Brave browser.
