@nurugger07 looking at your implementation for some of our use cases, what help is required to get this merged in?

#110 does some of this but I've stayed away from doing any config/config.exs changes.

@hedleyroos or @Rizziepit (and @shaunshephton as he's the original author), can either of you answer this one? I've not used this code before.
