I ran the experiment on the disk image and got similar results, although I note that `fls` reports times based on the current local time of the computer that's running...

Also, my times are not consistently off 4 hours, they are off 2 hours. Thus, I think that the issue is reporting times in GMT and not in local time.

I don't think it matters if the original code was correct or not. We don't want to change the behavior of the original code. If you want, we can add...
