There is a [test](https://github.com/shioyama/friendly_id-mobility/pull/11/files) that was added to cover this case, which is now passing with [this fix](https://github.com/shioyama/friendly_id-mobility/commit/51d6b965ff21a8e4555856d88dc97488da64dd51). The fix should work for all backends....
Hmm, this is unfortunate since it makes the vaccine certificate app in Japan unusable :sob: I wonder how hard this would be to implement?

Thanks @sedubois I will eventually look into it. Rails 6.0 compatibility is done but I'm working on a rewrite for an eventual v1.0 so that's still priority at the moment.
