Thank you for the proposal @willianpaixao! Since this touches the CRI boundary and requires coordination with kubectl/kubelet, I'd prefer to see more clarity from the KEP review (kubernetes/enhancements#5697) before merging....

Do we still need this even if 1.31 is considered EOL?
