Alternative was implemented in Saltbox by letting users override the roles imported by each meta tag.

Once traefik3 is merged we'll be using our own image.

Any updates on this?

That sandpit role doesn't do anything though.

I'll move this to Saltbox since it makes sense to have it there if Traefik integration is required, which it is.

Can't you just set the ENV to UTF-8 encoding? Either through PYTHONIOENCODING="UTF-8" or the LANG/LANGUAGE/LC_ALL?
