Does that mean the scanline count (when rounded) would be 312, and hence color loss doesn't happen?

There is already a RAM continuous write cheat. See `RamCheat.cxx`. I guess this class can be extended or built upon.
Try Direct3D. OpenGL is not as well supported in Windows.
