any progress on this? i hate to be forced to disable the auto-headers :(

I am not sure that I can do anything about it. My module only calls treeView.expandDirectory (https://github.com/atom/tree-view/blob/master/lib/tree-view.coffee#L404). Test if you have the same problem with nerd-treeview disabled.

This could have been fixed by #6725, please check if it resolves your use case. However, it might still not be able to serialize to ron due to the GlobalTransform...
