I think that's reasonable, a bit unfortunate ofc. I always use `$`'s except for `load` stuff so I don't mind having the blotch of red here.

I would hold on merging this, there might be smaller tweaks with `weld` (atm, `priority.default` is getting removed, though there's no harm in having it).
