`maxmemory_human` is the memory limit, not memory usage. Dragonfly determines the limit automatically based on the available memory on its host

what was the instance type on GCP? can you please repeat this experiment with version v1.35?
Just an assumption. It's definitely a regression. The deadlock stack traces have mutexes related to it.
Note, that `experimental_flat_json` is not something we use in production and it's not enabled by default.
