Please fix this, I moved from Franz, as they have the same issue. Let's do one better than them here!
For anyone wanting a temp work around to this bug, I recommend using [Checker Plus for Google Calendar](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checker-plus-for-google-c/hkhggnncdpfibdhinjiegagmopldibha?hl=en). It's by no means a perfect solution but its a lightweight way...
