I'm unable to use Extraterm due to this issue: when my computer revives from sleep extraterm is unresponsive. I went back to Gnome terminal which does not have this problem....

This project appears to have been abandoned. That being said it works with Swiper 6 and the README.md even has instructions for Swiper 6.

Fork it and update the package.json or follow the instructions that npm printed out above on how to ignore the error.

It works with v6. How to use it with v6 is even documented in the README. If you install v6 though recent versions of npm refuse to proceed. Somebody should...
