I genuinely ask user to give reasoning behind using lossy codecs for lossless trimming.
All this can be done with ffmpeg.
That filter only Y plane, others are ignored...
One can use atempo and asetrate filter too.
asetrate is not meant as replacement of rubberband ....
This is more input mp3 problem, somehow there is very huge amplitude spike 84.9dBFS right at start of audio. Can be inspected with astats or ebur128 filter. loudnorm gets somehow...
I seen it first time with this mp3, but can be reproduced with any file that can store >+/-1.0 values in samples. Just need high enough single sample spike.
Have you used -drc_scale 0 ?
Can this be reproduced somehow reliably? I could not found any input sample to test. Also I pushed some patches to FFmpeg master to loudnorm filter, I guess one of...
Maybe, maybe not, there is also fix for report of 0.0 for LRA for short audio but will look about posting it too.
