Can you share the full steps for reproduction? I'm not able to reproduce it by upgrading from 1.11.4 to 1.12.0-rc.5 using Helm.

@imdmahajankanika - what if you remove `runAsUser`? It's configurable: https://github.com/kyverno/kyverno/blob/1a02b70a1c3b078ab4ae47194dad35b54a271649/charts/kyverno/values.yaml#L502-L503
