Please include css and/or js compression if possible when you do the HTML compression. If it's used for e.g. email templates, the assets are likely embedded.

Pretty sure the problem is with the Vertx launcher code and not specifically this gradle plugin. If you run it without gradle the same problem occurs in Windows.

Requirement is being able to pull the release jar from a build tool, e.g. gradle or maven or have it manage updating the release without having to clone / duplicate...
