Move to the Eclipse Foundation

Dear contributors to the vertx-auth module,

We would like to officially move the project to the Eclipse Foundation under the https://github.com/eclipse-vertx umbrella.

For legal reasons, we need the consent from all code committers. Could you please let us know if you consent?

Clarification: We are not changing the license. We are transfering the IP ownership to the Eclipse Foundation, so that the foundation can enforce and protect the IP in the future as described by the licenses we choose at the beginning of the project.

We'd like you to complete the following steps:

1. Ensure that you have signed the Eclipse ECA https://www.eclipse.org/legal/ECA.php
2. Reply to this issue with your decision (consent/not consent) including your Eclipse contributor URL, e.g.: https://www.eclipse.org/user/palopes

@jdiazcano if you don't mind spending a few minutes, it would be easier for us if you could sign the ECA (which automatically will require the creation of the account)

I just don't understand why it needs to be signed as this is happening post-commit (and not just a few days). I would like to avoid the creation of the account if possible.

I consent. This whole thing is a hassle though, and I doubt it’s really necessary. “Legal reasons”? You want to release the code under a different license? Couldn’t you just say that?

@jakefeasel no, we are not changing any license. What is happening is that we are finally being added to the eclipse foundation. In order for the foundation to protect the code, it requires that all contributors consent that their contributions/IP to be donated to the foundation. This way the foundation can enforce the licenses we choose long ago for the project.

I understand it is bureaucracy work, but a small action to allow that the code is indeed open source and not owned by any third party.
