Same here. I replaced the Book folder with Laker. Then deleted the folders in Derived Data plus cleared the product and Simulator caches and I still see the default book....

OK, I figured it out. In my case it was user error. Just follow the Baker instructions for a Standalone install. https://github.com/Simbul/baker/wiki/Tutorial-for-Standalone-App Once that's done switch out the book folder.
