We should start from a separate repo to minimize any noise in the druid repo. We can migrate these issues to the new repo and have a clean working history...
@kfaraz do you mind reviewing this version bump of Curator? @asdf2014 perhaps you can take a look as well since you submitted the original PR to revert.
This upgrade may resolve this other bug condition reported in https://github.com/apache/druid/issues/17781.
